Kristof Woutters, based in Brussels, is Deputy Head of Distribution for Benelux and Nordics at Candriam. He plays a key role in expanding Candriam’s footprint across institutional and wholesale markets in these regions, leading strategic client relationships and driving growth through bespoke investment solutions adapted to local market dynamics and regulatory requirements.
Prior to joining Candriam in 2000, he worked as Senior Consultant at Pragma Consulting, specialising in asset management for pension funds. He contributed to the ‘Rebuilding Pensions’ report, sponsored and published by the European Commission, which became a major source of for the Commission’s first IORP Directive.
Kristof holds a master’s degree in commercial engineering from the University of Leuven (KUL, Belgium) and a master’s in economics from the University of Groningen (RUG, the Netherlands). He regularly competes in national and international sailing regattas.
