Theany joined the Thematic Global Equities Team at Candriam in 2018, and co-leads two sustainable strategies, Gender Diversity and Children’s Rights. She is the co-chair of the “30% Club Investor Group France”, a collective of 16 investors for advancing gender equity at the corporate level.
She is a visiting professor at ESSEC Business School in Paris, where she has been teaching sustainability-related and corporate finance courses since 2019. Theany began her career at Citigroup in fixed income research, followed by Credit Suisse, where she was a portfolio manager for global equity mandates and tailor-made investment strategies for high-net-worth clients.
Theany holds a BSc. in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Panamericana (Mexico), and a Global MBA from ESSEC (Paris) where she majored in Finance and Impact Investing. She is also a Certified Expert in Climate Finance by the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
