In short, the EU Taxonomy is a set of sustainable criteria for companies, investors and governments. Clarity on definitions of sustainable finance will accelerate projects and global collaboration. Yet, we still need to come up with universal ways to measure a social taxonomy.
The European Union has taken an important step towards a practical definition of sustainability. The new Taxonomy determines which economic activities can be classified as sustainable or green. The goal being carbon neutral by 2050.
