Global Head of Multi-Asset, Member of the Executive Committee

Nadège has been the Global Head of Multi-Asset at Candriam since 2021. She is in charge of establishing the broad Asset Allocation investment strategy applied across Candriam and the management of Multi-Asset funds.

She began her career as a sell-side Equity Analyst at Exane BNP Paribas in Paris in 1997. In 2007 Nadège joined Candriam as a Multi-Asset Fund Manager based in Luxembourg. In 2011 she became a Senior Asset Allocation Strategist and developed the cross-asset research and communication. Nadège subsequently took the role of Head of Asset Allocation at Candriam in 2014, building a very strong track record for Multi-Asset risk-profiled and flexible funds.

Nadège graduated from HEC Paris. She is a CFA Charterholder and also holds a financial analyst diploma from the French Society of Financial Analysts.

Is summer volatility inevitable?

The MSCI World (developed countries index) hit an all-time high in mid-July, following an almost uninterrupted 33% rise since its low point at the end of October 2023. Only a correction of around 5% in April 2024 enabled some reactive investors to jump on the bandwagon if they hadn't done so since the last quarter of last year.

Towards a new gold rush?

The price of gold has risen by over 17% since the beginning of the year, making it one of the best-performing assets this year. After hovering between US$1,800 and US$2,000 in 2023, the price of gold surged in March and April 2024, rapidly reaching US$2,400.
