Olivier Genest has been Head of convertible bond management at Candriam since 2013.
He began his career as a convertible arbitrage prop trader for the Bank CPR in 1993, before joining Candriam in 2000 as manager of convertible arbitrage fund manager, covering all geographical zones.
After spending 2 years as a global macro fund manager, he was appointed to his current position in 2013. He currently heads a team in charge of managing benchmarked and absolute return convertible funds, both European and global.
Olivier holds a Master’s degree in Science and Executive Engineering from the École des Mines de Paris.
