The Focus

Apogem Capital is a leading private markets investor formed in 2022 through the combination of three specialized boutiques - each with decades of experience focused on the North American middle market. Apogem offers private credit and equity strategies that can meet the capital needs of managers and sponsors and the return objectives of certain investors: private debt, private equity (primary and secondary investments, co-investments, GP stakes - minority stakes in private equity firms), and private real assets.

The Team

The Apogem team is led by an experienced leadership team with an average of more than 20 years of industry experience. With 250+ professionals, the firm has scale, strong relationships with companies in the middle market, and maintains an entrepreneurial spirit.

Apogem’s teams are based in New York, Chicago, Richmond, Austin and Cleveland. With thorough sector expertise and relevant sponsor experience, the team follows a robust due diligence process that aims to secure solid investment opportunities for its various strategies, covering a broad risk-return spectrum and a total of $40 billion in assets at end December 2024.
