Catherine has been active for almost 34 years in Belgian based international financial institutions, where she gained significant experience in different areas of the asset management department: financial analysis and portfolio management (on behalf of retail and institutional clients), hedging strategies, financial engineering, sales and marketing, business development and team management.
Conscious about the major role finance should play in driving sustainable practices and ethical behaviour, she decided to focus on social responsible investing and corporate governance issues. Since 2017 she is a ‘GUBERNA Certified Director’ and in 2020 she obtained a university-accredited certificate in Governance and Corporate Law (Université Catholique de Louvain). She is also an active ILA (Institut Luxembourgeois des Administrateurs) member. Next to her mandates as a non-executive director, she provides advice and support to start-up and scale-up companies searching to enhance their corporate governance structure.
