Erik Van Beylen is Head of Asset Allocation within Candriam’s Institutional Portfolio Management team. He has been active in asset allocation throughout his career, focusing on institutional clients, and has been part of the organisation that ultimately became Candriam since its inception in 1996.
Erik began his career in 1990 at Paribas Bank Belgium which, following a series of mergers, became part of Artesia Bank, which created the independent asset management entity Cordius Asset Management.
Erik holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economic Sciences and an MBA, both from the University of Louvain.
