Jan Berthold is a Portfolio Manager at Candriam, where he is responsible for the analysis and management of emerging market sovereign debt strategies. He joined Candriam in 2024, bringing extensive experience in sovereign analysis and fixed income investments.
Prior to this, he held several roles at Fidelity International, where he progressed from Sovereign Associate to Sovereign Analyst, and then Senior Sovereign Analyst, following an initial experience in Sales & Marketing and Fixed Income graduate programmes.
He holds a Master of Science in Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Warwick University in the UK. He has been a CFA Charterholder since 2016.
