René has been a Senior Institutional Portfolio Manager and equity strategist at Candriam since 2007, holding several positions in Equity since joining Candriam and our predecessor companies, Cordius and Artesia, (Cordius) in 1998.

Prior to Candriam, René was an Equity Analyst/Fund Manager at Paribas Belgium since 1989.

He holds a Degree in Economics from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium, and has been a CFA Charterholder since 2000.
