Lead Proxy Voting Analyst

Cemre has been Lead Proxy Voting Analyst at Candriam since 2025. She joined the ESG Investment and Research Team as Stewardship Analyst, Proxy Voting and Engagement in July 2021. 

Previously she worked as Cross Market Research Analyst at Institutional Shareholder Services since 2018, analysing governance structures and performance of publicly listed companies in Benelux, Nordic countries, Southern and Eastern Europe, Russia, and Israel to engage with issuers and advise investors on corporate governance-related topics. 

She holds a bachelors degree in Law from Ankara University, Faculty of Law and an advanced masters degree in International Business Law from the University of Ghent. Cemre also holds the Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute.
