A global health challenge that demands sustained funding
;
”Our aim is to do well by doing good. In identifying the companies whose innovations have the potential to improve patient outcomes lies the key to generate long-term investment returns.
Scientific expertise at the heart of our investment approach
Our investment universe spans companies involved in detecting and understanding cancer, developing treatments and providing the technologies that support research and care. Scientific advances are expanding the range of solutions available, creating growth opportunities across the industry.

Clinical evidence
Our research starts with the products a company develops or markets. We examine clinical data and compare potential benefits with existing treatments and competing technologies.

Valuation discipline
We assess commercial prospects and valuation, seeking businesses where the quality of the science is matched by a credible investment case.

Sustainability analysis
ESG analysis complements this work by examining sustainability risks and how companies manage relationships with stakeholders.
Investing as the science evolves
Every clinical milestone can create winners and losers. Our specialist team continuously evaluates new evidence, its potential impact on patients and its commercial significance. By reassessing our convictions as the science evolves, we seek to capture opportunities across established healthcare leaders and emerging biotechnology innovators while managing clinical and valuation risks.
A team combining science and investment experience
Assessing opportunities in the oncology domain requires a detailed understanding of both the science and the businesses behind it.
Our healthcare team brings together investment expertise and scientific training, including PhDs in biotechnology. This combination helps us assess complex medical developments and their implications for companies.
